Introducing Texifyit 1.5: The Next Step in Content Processing

Four new features that remove the one step too many: copying the extracted text and pasting it into another tool.

Up to the previous version, working with Texifyit always ended at the same point: the text came out of the document and began a journey through other applications. It was copied into an AI chat to be summarized, into a word processor to be formatted, into a voice generator to be narrated. Every jump cost time, and something was lost at every jump: the formatting, the tables, the hierarchy, sometimes the meaning.

Version 1.5 removes that journey. AI now works directly on the content, in the same place where you extracted it. No friction, no copy and paste.

Extract a PDF of more than 40 pages and you have the executive summary in seconds. Rewrite it in a LinkedIn tone. Turn it into a thread for X. All without leaving Texifyit.

1. AI Tools: AI works where you extracted the content

The “AI Tools” tab sits alongside Raw text, Forms, Tables and Layout, and is available both on the extracted text and on the translated text. Four modes cover almost everything that used to mean opening another tool.

Summarize — clear, structured summaries

Configurable along two axes. First the focus: General for a balanced summary, Executive for what a decision-maker needs, By points for a comparable structure, Key data for figures, dates and references. Then the length: Short, Medium or Long. And in the language you choose, with no separate translation step.

Rewrite — another tone, another level of formality, another length

One click changes the register of the text. It helps when the original is badly written, when it comes from a low-quality OCR, or when the same content has to address two different audiences.

Transform — the same content, in another format

This is the most visible leap. You choose what to turn the content into — blog article, newsletter, email, social media post or ad copy — and in which tone: Neutral, Formal, Casual, Friendly or Direct. A scanned report comes out as a newsletter; a manual, as a series of posts.

Prompt — your own instruction

When no preset mode does what you need, you write the instruction: “translate it into English and make it more persuasive”, “list every penalty clause”, “extract the amounts by supplier”. It runs on the extracted content, without pasting it anywhere else.

What it changes in practice

An accounting firm digitising a batch of invoices applies “Key data” and gets amounts, dates and references without opening file after file. A lawyer uses “Executive · Short” to decide in a minute whether a scanned contract deserves a full review. A marketing team uses Transform to turn an internal report into a newsletter and five social posts, from the same document and in a single session.

A detail that is easy to miss

AI Tools also works on the translated text. You can translate a contract into English and ask for the executive summary directly on that version, instead of summarizing in the original language and translating the summary afterwards. One step fewer, and less nuance lost in documents where nuance is exactly what matters.

2. AI Voice: professional voice-overs from any text

The AI Voice Studio sums up its own flow in four steps: extract, rewrite, record, done. It opens from the bottom bar of the editor and works on whatever is already on screen, whether it came from a document, a website or a video.

You start by choosing what gets narrated: the whole document or just one section. You can adjust the text first with Rewrite to fit the purpose of the piece, and then set the language of the voice-over, which does not have to match the language of the original.

The tone of the voice is chosen between formal, conversational, energetic or relaxed, and the selector is organized into five tabs:

• Actors — a catalogue of professional voices ready to use.
• Clone Voice — cloning a voice from a sample.
• My Voices — the library of voices you have already created or saved.
• Voice Changer — turning an existing recording into another voice.
• Voice Design — creating a new voice from parameters.

Before generating, you can adjust the speed — 0.75×, 1×, 1.25× or 1.5× — and decide how the audio is delivered: as a single file or split into 30- or 60-second segments, with a “Custom” option to set your own length. The result downloads as MP3, ready for a video, a podcast or a presentation. The panel shows the available credits and the cost before you confirm, and a history icon brings back earlier voice-overs.

What it changes in practice

A creator turns an article or a PDF into a podcast episode in minutes, with no studio and no editing. A logistics operation scans manifests and dispatch instructions, and the driver listens to them on the road. An institution whose regulations exist only in print makes them available as audio for people with low vision. A training center turns its manuals into onboarding audio and, with Clone Voice, keeps the same institutional voice across the whole library.

Why segment splitting matters

Cutting the audio into 30- or 60-second blocks is not a minor technical setting: it is what lets you break a long manual into training modules or feed short video formats, instead of a single twenty-minute file that nobody listens to all the way through.

3. Layout Export: no more reformatting after exporting

Extracting a document well and then losing its structure on export leaves the job half done. The “Layout” tab preserves the visual hierarchy, the formatting and the tables of the original across all three export destinations.

• Word (.docx) — keeps the heading and paragraph structure; the file arrives ready to present or edit.
• Excel (.xlsx) — preserves the structure of tables and data, ordered for analysis.
• PDF — keeps the layout and formatting of the original in a document ready to share.

It is the difference between receiving the text of a financial report and receiving the report: a scanned balance sheet that arrives in Excel with its rows and columns intact can be analyzed straight away, while the same balance sheet as running text has to be rebuilt by hand.

4. Web Extraction: any site, in six views and with built-in AI

Texifyit began by solving text locked inside images, scans and video. The web is the same class of problem: the content is in plain sight, but copying and pasting breaks the tables, loses the hierarchy and leaves out whatever is folded into accordions.

The upload screen adds a third tab next to “Upload” and “Video URL”: “Website”. You paste an address, Texifyit crawls the site and organizes everything it finds into six specialised views.

• Overview — an automatic summary of the site, main topics and key metrics.
• Content — all the text on the site, clean, with no ads or visual noise.
• Structure — the architecture of the site, the page hierarchy and their sections.
• Tables — automatic extraction of every data table.
• Blog — retrieves and lists the articles by category and publication date.
• FAQ — retrieves the frequently asked questions published on the page.

On top of those six views sits the AI Tools tab, which works on the content extracted from the site exactly as it does on any document. And the “Settings” panel defines how far the crawl goes.

When it finishes, a “Quick insights” block reports how many pages were extracted, how many links there are — split into internal and external — and how many FAQ items were detected. If the crawl covered several pages, a dropdown lets you jump between them without repeating the process.

What it changes in practice

A team rebuilding its site recovers the content of the previous one with its tables, articles and FAQs included, instead of copying page by page. A restaurant whose menu exists only on the web gets it back as editable text to reprint or translate. An insurer extracts the terms and rates published by a provider and turns them into a table it can actually work with. And a support team gathers the already published FAQs to build a service script from them.

Texifyit 1.5 stops being a text extractor. It is a content processing system with AI built into every step of the flow, and that rests on four things:

Texifyit has always solved the same problem: information locked in formats you cannot work with. What changes in 1.5 is where that work ends. It used to end in editable text and start a chain of copy and paste. Now it ends in the summary, the post, the audio or the formatted file you were going to produce anyway.
