1. Who We Are

texify.It Inc. (“texify.It,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a cloud-based platform for extracting, translating, transcribing, analyzing, and editing content from images, documents, audio/video files, URLs, and financial documents. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

• The texify.It website (https://texify.It.ai).
• Any subdomains or APIs provided by texify.It.
• Mobile, desktop, and embedded versions of the texify.It platform.
• All texify.It features including OCR, translation, audio/video transcription, URL extraction, image editing, financial document analysis, and export tools.

3. Information We Collect

We only collect what we need to operate the Service:

• Identifiers: Name, email, login credentials, and OAuth data (Google/GitHub).
• Content Files: Images, PDFs, documents, financial documents (bank statements, invoices, receipts), logos and brand assets, audio, video, URL-sourced media, transcripts, translated text, AI-generated overlays, and edited files.
• URL Content: Metadata, subtitles, transcripts, or publicly available text from supported
• Usage Data: IP address, browser type, OS, device type, session timestamps, referring pages.
• Billing Data: Processed securely through Stripe.
• Support Data: Email tickets, chat logs.
• Cookies/Analytics: Session cookies, GA4 analytics, with consent where required.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA)

• Consent (cookies, marketing emails).
• Contract (to provide requested services).
• Legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention).
• Legal obligation (billing and tax compliance).

5. Use of Information

We use data to:

• Provide and improve texify.It services
• Extract text, translate, transcribe audio/video, and analyze financial documents
• Process URL content strictly for user-authorized extraction
• Generate translated images and overlays
• Authenticate and secure user sessions
• Maintain compliance and prevent fraud
• Respond to support requests
• Track usage and improve our platform
• Send transactional notifications
• Offer new features (with opt-in)

texify.It does NOT use user files to train AI models.

6. Data Sharing and Processors

We share data only with essential subprocessors:

• Supabase (authentication and database)
• AWS Textract (OCR)
• Google Vision & Gemini (OCR, translation, analysis)
• OpenAI Whisper (audio/video transcription)
• Stripe (billing)
• Email providers
• OAuth Providers (Google, GitHub)

All transfers outside the user's region follow SCCs or equivalent safeguards.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use:

• Necessary cookies (authentication)
• Analytics cookies (GA4)

A consent banner is shown to EU/UK visitors.

8. Retention and Deletion

• Uploaded files and URL-derived content auto-delete within 24 hours unless saved by the user.
• Financial analysis results are stored only if the user explicitly saves them.
• Billing data: 7 years
• Support logs: 2 years
• OAuth login data: retained while the account is active.

9. Security

• TLS 1.3 encrypted communications
• AES-256 encrypted storage
• Role-based access controls
• Annual penetration tests
• 24-hour incident response window

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may:

• Access, correct, or delete your data
• Withdraw consent
• Request export of your data
• File complaints with privacy authorities

11. Audio/Video Consent Responsibilities

Users must obtain lawful consent from all identifiable individuals appearing in uploaded or URL-sourced audio/video content. texify.It does not verify consent and disclaims liability for unlawful recordings.

12. Copyright & DMCA Handling

To resolve DMCA or copyright complaints, texify.It may temporarily retain minimal data required to investigate infringement claims. Submit DMCA notices to dmca@texify.It.ai.

13. Children's Privacy

texify.It does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under the minimum age required by local law). Users must not upload content involving minors without lawful authorization.

14. Policy Updates

• Material updates are announced 14 days in advance. Continued use indicates acceptance.
