Texify.it Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 23, 2026
Where a translation is provided, the English version controls to the extent permitted by applicable law.
1. Introduction and acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and texify. It Inc. (“Texify.it”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing access to and use of the Texify.it websites, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, checking an acceptance box, completing checkout, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
Where applicable law requires separate or renewed consent for particular processing or communications, we will seek that consent through the relevant in-product flow. We do not rely solely on continued use as consent where fresh express consent is legally required.
2. Eligibility and organizational authority
- You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law.
- The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
- Organization-managed users may only use the Service as authorized by their organization.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with export, sanctions, and local laws that apply to you.
3. Description of the Service
Texify.it is an AI-assisted SaaS platform designed to help users extract, translate, convert, analyze, synthesize, and export content. - Document conversion: synchronous conversion and asynchronous AI-assisted or layout-preserved conversion, including temporary object storage, time-limited download links, temporary local files, queue payloads, job identifiers, merge-file operations, multipart uploads, and cleanup after processing or final job attempts.
- Exports and integrations: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, TXT, image, and audio exports; Google Sheets export to new or existing spreadsheets (including financial formats where offered); and other connected services you authorize. Export categories may vary by extraction source.
We may modify, add, suspend, or discontinue features. Marketing descriptions do not override the entitlements shown in your account, checkout, or current pricing page.
4. Accounts and account security
- Accounts may be created with email and password or via supported third-party login providers (such as Google or GitHub) through our authentication provider.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account, including use by organization-authorized users.
- We may maintain session information, authentication events, and account status (for example active, inactive, or restricted) to operate and secure the Service.
- You must promptly notify us of unauthorized access or credential compromise.
- Connected-service tokens (such as Google OAuth tokens for Sheets) are used only as needed for the integrations you authorize and may be revoked by you through the provider or, where available, within the Service.
- Account deletion, where offered, may not automatically cancel an active paid subscription with our payment processor. Cancel subscriptions through the customer portal or account billing controls, and confirm any remaining obligations before deleting an account.
5. Customer Content and required rights
“Customer Content” means content you or your users submit to the Service, including files, documents, images, audio, video, URLs, website content, prompts, voice samples, metadata, and connected-service data.
“Outputs” means results generated or returned by the Service from Customer Content or your instructions, including extracted text, translations, transcripts, conversions, analyses, structured fields, exports, generated or transformed audio, and similar results.
As between you and Texify.it, you retain your rights in Customer Content. Subject to these Terms and applicable law, we do not claim ownership of Customer Content solely because you uploaded it.
You grant Texify.it a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, display, translate, convert, analyze, and otherwise use Customer Content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, support, improve operational reliability of, and legally operate the Service, and to comply with law. This license ends when Customer Content is deleted from our active systems, subject to backups, logs, legal holds, and retention described in the Privacy Policy.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, and consents needed to submit Customer Content and to grant the license above, including rights in third-party documents, websites, recordings, images, personal data, and voices.
6. Sensitive and confidential information
The Service is not designed as a specialized system for regulated health, payment-card, or government-classified data. Do not upload information you are not authorized to process, or for which the Service’s safeguards are unsuitable.
If you upload financial documents, identity information, children’s data, biometric or voice information, or other sensitive data, you are solely responsible for having a lawful basis and appropriate notices/consents.
7. AI processing and Outputs
- The Service uses automated and AI-assisted systems that may be inaccurate, incomplete, non-unique, biased, or unsuitable for your purpose.
- Outputs are for informational and productivity assistance only. They are not professional legal, medical, financial, accounting, tax, immigration, or other regulated advice.
- You must review Outputs before relying on them for decisions, publication, filing, customer communications, or other consequential uses.
- Intellectual-property protection for AI Outputs varies by jurisdiction and may be limited or unavailable.
- You may use Outputs for your lawful purposes, subject to these Terms, third-party rights, and the rights of others. You may not reverse engineer or use Outputs or the Service to recreate Texify.it proprietary models, systems, or competing core technology.
- We do not broadly prohibit all training uses of Outputs by you for your internal purposes, but you must not use the Service or Outputs to extract, distill, or recreate our proprietary technology.
8. AI transparency, chatbot disclosures, and synthetic content
Where legally required, you must disclose that content is AI-generated, synthetic, or manipulated, including labels, metadata, provenance, or machine-readable indicators required by applicable law.
Texify.it may provide support chat or chatbot experiences. Some support interactions may be human-assisted, automated, or AI-assisted. Do not assume every response is from a human agent.
Implementation gap: product UI labeling for AI-generated content, synthetic-voice disclosure, and standalone chatbot-as-AI disclosures may not yet be fully implemented. You remain responsible for any disclosures required for your use of Outputs.
9. Voice generation, cloning, design, and transformation
AI Voice features may generate speech, store audio history, allow renaming or deletion of generated audio where available, clone or design voices, preview voices, detect language, change voices, save voices, and process voice samples or transformed audio using provider voice identifiers.
- You must have explicit authorization from every identifiable voice owner whose voice you upload, clone, design from, transform, or otherwise process.
- You must not use voice features for deceptive impersonation, fraud, false endorsement, authentication bypass, social engineering, or other unlawful or harmful purposes.
- Additional restrictions apply to voices of minors. Do not upload, clone, or transform a minor’s voice unless you are the parent/guardian or otherwise have all required rights and a lawful basis, and the use is permitted by law.
- Where legally required, disclose that voice content is synthetic or manipulated.
- Voice-owner authorization in the product may rely on your attestation (for example, a confirmation checkbox). We may not independently verify ownership of every sample.
10. Websites, social media, and URL extraction
- You are responsible for recordings, uploads, and third-party content you submit or request the Service to process.
- You must have rights and permission to process content from websites, social platforms, and URLs you submit.
- Publicly accessible content may still be protected by copyright, database rights, privacy rights, contract, or platform terms.
- You must not use crawling, mapping, or URL extraction to bypass authentication, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, access controls, technical restrictions, rate limits, or platform blocks.
- You must not use crawling or extraction for unlawful surveillance, profiling, discrimination, doxxing, spam, harassment, or other prohibited purposes.
- Supported platforms and extraction methods may change. Platform terms of those third parties also apply to you.
11. Connected services and exports
- Exports and integrations may require authorizing third-party services (for example, Google Sheets via OAuth).
- You can revoke access through the third-party provider and, where available, by disconnecting within the Service.
- Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for those services.
- Google user data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the Service, consistent with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
- Source-aware export options may limit certain export categories depending on how content was extracted.
12. Plans, trials, subscriptions, pausing, reactivation, and plan changes
- Paid plans, free plans, and trials (including trials without a payment method where offered) are described on the current pricing page, at checkout, and in your account.
- Subscriptions may be monthly or annual and normally renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with these Terms and the controls shown in your account or customer portal.
- You may be able to pause (for example, cancel at period end), reactivate, upgrade, or downgrade as offered in-product. Changes take effect as shown in the confirmation screens and invoices.
- Taxes and currency are displayed at checkout where applicable.
- Payment failures may lead to dunning, feature restriction, suspension, or cancellation as permitted by law and described in-product.
- Do not rely on outdated marketing pages for plan entitlements. The pricing page, checkout, and your account control current commercial terms.
13. Credits, reservations, top-ups, prices, and taxes
- The Service may use subscription credits, purchased or top-up credits, and bonus or extra credits.
- Credits may be reserved before processing and later finalized, adjusted, released, or restored depending on job success, failure, or cancellation.
- Credit calculations may be based on pages, minutes, URLs, output characters, conversion jobs, voice operations, or other rules displayed in-product or at checkout.
- A displayed balance may refresh after operations; temporary delays or discrepancies can occur while jobs complete.
- Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for cash except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
- Prices, credit packages, and taxes are those shown at checkout and on invoices. We do not hard-code commercial amounts in these Terms.
14. Cancellation, account deletion, refunds, and billing disputes
- You may cancel auto-renewal through the customer portal or account billing controls. Access normally continues until the end of the then-current paid period unless otherwise stated.
- Account deletion, where available, is separate from subscription cancellation and may not by itself cancel Stripe or other processor subscriptions.
- Refunds, withdrawals, and chargeback rights are governed by mandatory consumer law, checkout disclosures, and our then-current refund practices shown in-product or communicated at purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.
- Billing disputes should be raised promptly to our legal or support contacts with your account email and invoice details.

15. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include, without limitation:
- Violating law, third-party rights, or these Terms.
- Uploading malware, attempting unauthorized access, probing, scraping our Service except through documented APIs you are permitted to use, or disrupting the Service.
- Processing content you do not have rights to process.
- Bypassing authentication, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, rate limits, or technical protections on third-party sites.
- Using the Service for unlawful surveillance, doxxing, harassment, spam, discrimination, or exploitation.
- Deceptive voice impersonation, fraud, false endorsement, or social engineering.
- Attempting to reverse engineer proprietary models, circumvent credit or plan limits, or resell the Service except as expressly permitted.
- Misrepresenting Outputs as human-created professional advice or as unaltered authentic recordings where disclosure is required.
16. High-impact and regulated uses
You must not use the Service as the sole basis for high-impact decisions about a person’s eligibility for employment, credit, housing, insurance, education, or similar legally significant determinations, or for uses that require specialized regulated systems we have not contracted to provide.
Texify.it does not itself make legally significant eligibility decisions about individuals based on automated processing of Customer Content.
17. Copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, and other rights complaints
If you believe content processed or made available through the Service infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights, please send a notice to legal@texifyit.ai with:

- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Rights complaints: legal@texifyit.ai
This voluntary complaint process does not represent that Texify.it has registered a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office, qualifies for a particular statutory safe harbor, or accepts that any one country’s notice-and-takedown process applies to every complaint.
We may remove or restrict material, notify the relevant user, and take other steps we consider appropriate. Counter-notices and restoration requests may be considered where permitted by law and our policies.
18. Texify.it intellectual property
- The Service, including software, models configurations we provide, branding, UI, documentation, and websites, is owned by texify. It Inc. or its licensors.

- We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk, fail to pay, or if required by law or a third-party provider.
- We may also suspend features for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, or operational reasons.
- Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, licenses as needed for wind-down, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law) survive termination.
20. Service availability, AI limitations, and disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Texify.it DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
- We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
- AI Outputs may be wrong or unsuitable; human review is required.
- Third-party platforms, models, and networks may fail or change without notice.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or warranties that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.
21. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Texify.it AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) OR LOCAL EQUIVALENT.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer or other law.

23. Governing law and mandatory local rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protection laws of your place of residence may also apply and are not waived.
Subject to mandatory law, courts in Toronto, Ontario, Canada have jurisdiction over disputes, without limiting any non-waivable right to bring claims in your local courts where required.
24. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means, such as email, in-product notice, or website notice.
